Bantwal Police Arrest Drug Peddler, Ganja Worth Rs 19.97 Lakh Seized
Mangaluru: The Bantwal Town police arrested a drug Peddler and seized 39 Kilograms of ganja from his possession from Madda, Bantwal here on September 8.
The arrested has been identified as Ahmed Sabith (30) from Mooda, Bantwal.
According to the police, on September 8, the Bantwal police raided the house of Ahmed Sabith and seized 39.948 Kilograms of Ganja worth Rs 19.97 lakh from his possession.
During the raid, the police arrested Ahmed Sabith but another accused Mohammed Ansar succeeded to flee from the spot.
Bantwal town police have registered a case under section 8 (c), 20(B)(II)(c) NDPS Act 1985 and investigation is on.
