Bengaluru: Parents and students continued to protest against the alleged discrepancies in the II PU exam results on Thurday. Students said they have been given extremely low marks as a few of them were arrested by the police.

They even complained that many of the private websites which have been authorised to announce the results, showed different marks. They urged the government to postpone CET counselling until revaluation results are out.

Trying to pacify the crowd, PU dept director Sushama Godbole said “We have made provision for students to obtain photocopies and apply for retotalling and revaluation like every year. Several have applied for the same. We will process it within the schedule and ensure that nobody loses out on time.”

The President of the parents association, Mullahali Suri said that they will approach the lokayukta in the evening if the problems have not been resolved.
