Bharat Bandh, DC Sasikanth Announces Holiday on Jan 8 to Schools and Colleges
Mangaluru: The Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has declared a holiday to all the schools and colleges on January 8, in connection with the Nation-wide Bandh.
The Central Trade Unions have called for Bharat Bandh on January 8 and 9 against the repressive policies for workers adopted by the BJP government led by Narendra Modi.
To maintain the law and order situation, measures have been taken by the district administration.
To prevent any untoward incidents in the district, and to maintain the law and order situation, the Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has announced holiday on January 8 for all schools and colleges in the district.
