Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya, Section 144 Imposed in Mangaluru Commissionerate from August 4 to 6 Morning

Mangaluru: In connection with the Bhoomi Pujan of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, various Hindu organizations have planned to organize several programmes. As a precautionary measure and to avoid any untoward incidents, section 144 has been imposed in the Mangaluru City police commissionerate from August 4 night 8.00 pm to August 6 early morning 6 am”, stated police commissioner Vikas Kumar in a press statement issued on August 3.

With Section 144 in place, gathering of more than five persons at one place, Carrying any weapons and activities disturbing peace, bursting of firecrackers or any explosives, Bike rally, protests, processions, roadblocks or organizing any programmes are banned.
