BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje’s salary account hacked, Rs 20 lakh siphoned off

New Delhi: In a fresh case of internet fraud, the salary account of BJP leader and Karnataka MP Shobha Karandlaje was hacked.

Reports say nearly Rs 20 lakh was siphoned off from her account.

The State Bank of India account was frozen after lodging of complaint.

The complaint was filed at North Avenue police station in the national capital.

Police investigation is underway.

Hailing from Puttur in Coastal Karnataka, Shobha represents the Udupi-Chickmagalur constituency.
