BJP to hold Udupi CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah Hatao campaign on October 6

Udupi: CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah is acting like the personal secretary to Minister Pramod Madhwaraj alleged Former Udupi MLA K Raghupati Bhat. He was speaking at a press meet held at the Udupi Press Club here on September 27.

Commissioner Manjunathaiah has been involved in ruining the CMC by working against the Municipal rules. The Bharathiya Janatha Party will be organising the ‘CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah Hatao’ campaign on October 6.

CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah has been working for the CMC from 3 years. He has destroyed the CMC by promoting corruption and making it difficult for the people by functioning against the municipal norms. The Commissioner has to maintain equality while dealing with the CMC members but he has been supporting only the Congress members.

The CMC members of other CMC ‘s in the state used to visit Udupi CMC general meeting but these days Udupi CMC is witnessing only heated arguments and unnecessary adjournments. The CMC Commissioner has been acting as an agent of the Congress party. He is not fit for the post of CMC Commissioner he can very well fulfil the duties as the personal secretary to Pramod Madhwaraj.

Manjunathaiah is from the Education Department cadre and has no legal credentials to work as Municipal Commissioner. Minister for Education Tanveer Sait has said that services of the education department officials serving in other departments will be withdrawn. An appeal will be made to the Minister to withdraw the services of Manjunathaiah from the Municipal department immediately. Manjunathaiah has been hiding behind Minister Pramod Madhwaraj. A card movement will be launched addressing the Chief Minister and Education Minister to withdraw the services of CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah and appoint him back to the education department. A rally will be organised on October 6 urging the CMC President to take suitable action, he added.
