Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Commends Police for Swift Crime Resolution
Udupi: On Wednesday, Catholic Sabha, Udupi Pradesh extended its appreciation to Udupi District Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar and the district police for their prompt and effective action in solving several recent cases, arresting the accused, maintaining law and order, and strengthening public confidence.
A delegation of office-bearers from the Catholic Sabha, Udupi Pradesh met the Superintendent of Police and conveyed their gratitude for the department’s timely intervention and successful investigations.
Speaking on the occasion, Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh President Melwin Aranha Shirva said that some of the recent incidents had caused concern within the Christian community. He, however, praised the district police for their swift response, efficient investigation, and the arrest of those responsible.
He added that the community deeply valued the police department’s functioning and assured full cooperation in efforts to preserve peace and law and order in the district.
Responding to the delegation, SP Hariram Shankar said the department carefully monitors every case and takes necessary steps to ensure proper resolution. He credited the success of recent investigations to the dedicated work and cooperation of police officers and staff.
He further expressed his appreciation for the Christian community’s support and goodwill and sought its continued cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony in the district.
