CCB Police Arrest 2 Drug Peddlers and Seize 132 Kg Ganja

Mangaluru: The CCB police arrested two drug peddlers and seized 132 kilograms of Ganja from their possession at Tarethota near Pumpwell.

The arrested has been identified as Khalandar Mohammed Shah (35) and Mohiddin Ansar (27) from Kasargod, Kerala.

According to the police, on August 21, after getting information from reliable sources about drugs being peddled, the CCB police succeeded in seizing the escort vehicle of the peddlers.

The police seized 132 kilograms of Ganja, a Mahindra Bolero Pickup bearing registration number KL 14 V 180, and a Swift Car bearing registration number KL 53 E 6688 and 2 mobile phones from their possession all worth Rs 43 lakh.

Under the able guidance of Police commissioner Vikas Kumar, DCP Law and order Arunangshugiri and DCP Crime and Traffic Vinay Gaonker, and the leadership of ACP Jagadish, the operation was carried out by CCB Inspector Shivaprakash, ENC Police Inspector Ramakrishna CCB PSI Kabbal Raj, Pradeep T R, Mohan L, Mohan K V, Teja Kumar and team, Chandra Addur, Yogish, Chandrahas Sanil, Girish Suvarna, Rajendra Prasad, Reji, Mani M N, Abdul Jabbar, Nutan Kumar, Sudheer Kumar, Raja, Ashith Vishal D’Souza, Anjanappa and Manoj Kumar.
