The case was repeated in the early hours of Wednesday, Feb 25. About 15 villages in Mudigere taluk felt minor tremors between 6-50 am to 7 am. Furnitures and fixtures, utensils etc. shook vigorously which forced people to run out of their houses in panic.

Unconfirmed reports said that similar effect was felt in Chikkamagaluru and around. No damage has been reported from anywhere.

Richter measure was also not available as offices were not open in the early hours. An official report if it was really an earthquake or aftershock of any heavy blasting activity is yet to be out.
