CM Announces Rs 10 Lakh Compensation to Families of Police Firing Victims in Mangaluru
Bengaluru: The chief minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa announced Rs 10 lakh compensation to the families of Jalil and Nausheen who died in the police firing on December 19 in Mangaluru.
The announcement was made on December 22 in Bengaluru.
On December 21, CM Yediyurappa visited the family members of Jalil and Nausheen who lost their lives in the police firing in Bunder on December 19. During the press conference in Mangaluru, the CM had said that compensation would be provided to the deceased families according to the law but he had not mentioned the compensation amount.
On December 22 the CM announced the compensation to the deceased families and each family will get Rs 10 lakh compensation.
