CM Pinarayi Vijayan has no Morality to speak on Communal Harmony – Sharan Pumpwell
Mangaluru: “Kerala, now synonymous with political murders, has stood witness to the maximum number of violent annihilation of nationalists, for the mere quelling of political vendetta, by those who follow conflicting political ideologies. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is coming to Mangaluru to deliver a speech on Communal Harmony. We are opposing the CM of Kerala delivering a speech on Communal Harmony. We have organized a protest on February 24 and 25 against the Kerala CM coming to Mangaluru and delivering a speech. More than 10,000 people from Mangaluru, Udupi, Puttur, Sullia, Vittal, Bantwal, Beltangady and Kasargod will take part. We request all to take part including the students to boycott the classes, auto drivers, and owners to take part in the protest on February 24 and on February 25, for a ‘voluntary’ bandh”, said the district convener of Bajrang Dal Sharan Pumpwell in a press meet held at the VHP office here on February 22.
Addressing the media persons Sharan said, “On February 21, the CPI(M) leaders in a press meet had said that no cases have been filed against the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, but he himself had declared to the election commission that 11 criminal cases are filed against him while submitting his nomination. According to him, there is a 120 B case filed against him, In Kerala, 232 RSS volunteers have been killed and 1270 cases have been filed against the RSS volunteers. We are not against the CM to coming here but a person who has failed to stop the killing of innocent Hindus has no moral right to come to Mangaluru and deliver a speech on communal harmony. Prime minister Modi has released a book called “Ahuti”, which gives details of political murders in Kerala. In Mangaluru we have unity, there are no political murders in our district. We the Bajrang Dal, VHP, HJV and other students organizations will join hands in the protest. Pinarayi Vijayan does not have any morality to deliver a speech on communal harmony”.
VHP President Jagadish Shenava said, “On February 24, we have only a procession from Jyoti circle which will culminate at the Nehru maidan Football grounds. Pinarayi Vijayan in an affidavit has declared that he has 11 criminal cases against him. A 120B case means Punishment for criminal conspiracy. Under this section, whoever is a party to a criminal conspiracy to commit an offence is punishable with death. Pinarayi Vijayan should not be given permission to come and deliver a speech here. Let anyone come here and attend the programme but we will not allow Pinarayi to deliver the speech on communal harmony”.
We request the people to join the protest march on February 24 and o.On February 25 for a ‘Voluntary’ bandh.
