Complete Lockdown will be Imposed in Udupi District on July 5 – DC Jagadeesh
Udupi: As the Karnataka government announced a complete lockdown on Sundays till August 2, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Udupi district will be strictly following the Lockdown on July 5 said G Jagadeesh deputy commissioner of Udupi district.
In a video message DC Jagadeesh said, “Based on the State and the Central government guidelines, there would be prohibitory orders across the district. Outlets selling milk, newspapers, hospital, medicals had been excluded, and they would operate as usual.
Marriages already fixed on Sundays shall be permitted as per the government guidelines. Police action will be taken against anyone found roaming outside unnecessarily”.
