Congress Candidate Sorake meets Puttige, Palimar and Adamar Swamiji, seeks Blessings
Udupi: Congress candidate from Kaup Constituency Vinay Kumar Sorake, on Sunday, April 22 met Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Puttige Math at Puttige and sought his blessings before filing his nominations for the upcoming Assembly elections slated to be held on May 12.
The Swamiji who spoke after blessing Sorake said that he would pray to God to bless the Congress candidate. He also said that it was the duty of the religious leaders to pray for the well being of the society and nation.
Later Sorake visited Hiriyadka Mahathobara Sree Veerabhadra Temple and offered special puja. Sorake also met Mogaveera leader Dr G Shanker at Hiriyadka.
In the evening he vistited Sri Krishna Math and made a darshan of Lord Sri Krishna and also met Paryaya Palimar Swamiji and sought the blessings of Swamiji. The Swamiji honoured Sorake. during the visit. Later he also met Junior Swamiji of Adamar Math.
KPCC secretary Belapu Deviprasad Shetty was also present.
Kaup MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake will file his nomination on Monday, April 23 at 11.00 am.
