Continued Drive against Drug Peddling, Surprise Checks on PGs
Mangaluru: In a continued crackdown on the availability of drugs, the police have continued their drive. Police commissioner Sandeep Patil is trying his best to curb the drug menace in the city.
After taking up the charge as Police commissioner, Sandeep Patil has cracked down on many illegal activities such as Cricket Betting, Drug peddling, cattle trafficking, cybercrime, etc.
Recently four youth were arrested in connection with drug peddling in Attavar.
On July 16, the police carried out surprise checks in various Paying guest houses and checked the belongings of students. Students are advised to stay away from drugs to avoid getting into problems.
