Couple dies after Pejawar Swamiji’s Escort Vehicle Collides with Indigo car in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: A Couple died on the spot when the escort vehicle of Pejawar Swamiji collided with another car at Karappana Halligate near Hosakote, Bengaluru on Sunday, November 18 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ramakrishnaiah (65) and his wife Sarvalochana (50).
According to sources, Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math was on his way to Chikkaballapur via Hosakote with police escort. An Indigo car which was coming from opposite direction collided with Pejawar Swamiji’s police escort vehicle. The couple who were travelling in the indigo car died on the spot. ASI Shambaiah who was in the police escort vehicle was injured in the accident and shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru.
Nandagudi Police rushed to the spot for investigations.
