COVID-19 Claims 5 Lives in DK, Death toll Rises to 46
Mangaluru: In a single day, five more persons have died of COVID-19 in various hospitals in the city here on July 12, taking the death toll in Dakshina Kannada to 46.
On July 12, a 60-year-old man from Pilichamundikallu, Belthangady, a 50-year-old man from Puttur, a 72-year-old man from Urwa Stores, a 60-year-old woman from Ballalbagh and a 68-year-old woman from Bunder have died of COVID-19.
Four persons died at the Wenlock COVID Hospital and a 50-year-old man from Puttur died in a private hospital in Derlakatte.
The total number of deaths in Dakshina Kannada has risen to 46.
