‘Create Anger Free Zone’- Brahma Kumari Ambika at St Aloysius B. Ed College
Mangaluru: St Aloysius B. Ed College celebrated Harmony Day on the theme ‘everyone belongs’. Brahma Kumari Ambika, a member of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Urwa, Mangaluru, was the chief guest of the programme.
In her message, she highlighted, ‘Harmony means happiness and stability in life. God is the supreme power. If one has a feeling of anger, jealousy, hatred, enmity, negative impression against the other will not receive the blessing of the supreme. Still, one can be open to God and surrender such negativity to Him. Let’s look at everyone in ‘pavithr drishti’. Brotherly and sisterly outlook towards the other is the purest one and the highest harmony and humanity in life. We are slaves of our emotions. There are both negative and positive emotions that govern our minds. Positive emotions bring happiness to us as well as to all those around us. Anger is the real destroyer of our good human qualities. When anger takes control of anyone, it makes him violent and aggressive. Spiritual and sports activities help us to create an anger-free zone and build a harmonious relationship with others’.
- The programme began with a prayer service led by Divya and group. Shreya and group performed a welcome dance. Janet rendered the welcome address. Amanda highlighted the significance of celebrating harmony day. Julia introduced the chief guest to the audience. Shivangi led the candle ceremony. Arvin and group enacted a Kannada Dance Drama titled ‘Manava-Manaveeyatheya Avinabhava Sambandha’. Dr Farita Viegas, the Principal, administered the Oath of living in harmony and obedience to the Indian Constitution. Usha proposed the vote of thanks. Shiksha compered the programme. Mrs Joshna, the Lecturer, organized the programme.
