DCP Shantharaju Flags off Namma Ambulance Janara Sevege

Mangaluru: DCP Law and order Shantharaju flagged off an Ambulance in front of the DC’s office gate, which has been donated by the Tulunada Rakshana Vedike, on September 14.

The programme began with an invocation. DCP law and order Shantharaju inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the gathering, DCP Shantharaju said, “I have seen the Tulunada Rakshana Vedike staging protests fighting for the rights of the people but today I have seen the organization dedicating an ambulance to the poor people in the society. When I asked how the service will be provided to the people, Yogish Jeppu said that one of the members of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike donated Rs 1.5 lakh and the rest of the amount is a loan from the bank to purchase the Ambulance”.

Shantharaju also said that the ambulance will benefit the poor and the needy in the society. Let the people make use of “Namma Ambulance Janara Sevege”.

Santhosh Kumar Boliar said that we should not expect anything from the society but we need to serve the society. Today Tulunada Rakshana Vedike has dedicated an ambulance to the society. Let the people from all walks of life benefit from the ambulance.

Dr Rajesh speaking on the occasion assured of all assistance towards TRV in their service. Yogish Shetty Jeppu delivered the keynote address.

How one can take patient in Omni…it’s such a small vehicle…anyhow, you are spending money, you would have gone for a bigger one….but, kudos for the good job..
