Los Angeles, Feb 2 (IANS) Actor Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed bringing a vape pen to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, which was held here last week.
A vape pen is a vapouriser used to vapourise the ingredients of smoking substance.
“The Revenant” actor, who won his first-ever SAG Award after being nominated for Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role nine times, was photographed using the device during the show, reports aceshowbiz.com.
It’s not clear what kind of substances DiCaprio put in his vape pen. While others didn’t take it too seriously, Miley Cyrus seemingly called out DiCaprio for smoking during the event.
Stopping by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, the “Wrecking ball” singer recalled: “I was 20 ft, 15 ft from Leonardo DiCaprio, sitting there with his mom. He was hitting a vape pen.
“But it wasn’t him that was making me kinda nervous — I was feeling this emotion because there’s an etiquacy (sic) of, when we’re there, that you pass that s**t Leo! And he never did, so that was weird to me.”
Unsurprisingly, social media users were so quick to respond to the matter.
Some of them created memes featuring DiCaprio using his vape pen.
“When you are going to win an Oscar, but you still want to live that #vapelife,” a Twitter user wrote.
