Disabled man commits suicide in Delhi

New Delhi: A 40-year-old disabled man committed suicide near the Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in the heart of Delhi, police said on Monday. The body was found on a wheelchair.

The deceased was identified as Davala Arjun Rao, from Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district, Deputy Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma said.

“A passerby informed the police about the body,” he said.

“A suicide note written in Telugu was recovered. It appears that he was under depression for the past few days,” Verma said.
