District Congress Celebrates Victory in 3 States
Mangaluru: The DK District Congress members and leaders celebrated the victory of the party in three states, in front of the DKDCC office, Mallikatta here on December 11.
The party workers burst firecrackers and distributed sweets and celebrated their victory in Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Addressing the party workers former MLA J R Lobo said, “The Congress party has won in the three main states in the country with a majority of votes. The BJP has taken the country backwards because of their wrong moves. People of this country have trust in the Congress party and have voted in its favour. We will form the government in Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. We will celebrate this victory througout the country since this is an indication of a clear majority for Congress in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.”
Addressing the party workers Mithun Rai said, “The farmers and the middle-class people are with the Congress party because the BJP government had given a lot of assurances but failed to fulfil them. This time the people have voted for the Congress with the highest majority in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh. People have rejected the Acche Din of Modi and accepted the Jadu ki Jappi of Rahul Gandhi. In the coming Lok Sabha elections, we will surely win with a majority and the Congress will form the government.”
Senior Congress leaders Ibrahim Kodijal, Sashidhar Hegde, Shalet Pinto and others were also present.
