Don’t Get Surprised, PM Will Call for Elections by Dec 30′- Poojary

Mangaluru: Yes, Jananna was back in the Press Club building again, and this time slamming on PM Naredra Modi and CM Siddaramaiah. Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary said, ” You’ll be surprised to know that PM Narendra Modi will declare the general elections along with the elections of every state and also every panchayat by December 30. 2016. Holding these national, state and panchayat elections together will save lots of expenses and time .And I will predict it. And the PM is going to do it to take advantage of the demonetization of currency bills of Rs 500/1000, so that he can continue as PM in power. And that’s the only reason he intends to call for early elections”

“In spite of many queries posed at him in the parliament by opposition leaders he is not ready to face and answer them. This seems like our democracy has been lost. He should have been in New Delhi to answer some of the important questions pertaining to important issues, instead he is reciprocating with his answers from abroad, where he has been constantly touring. Of course, PM Modi has lost his credibility. If he is a genuine PM he should make himself present in the parliament, answer to the queries of opposition leaders, because he is not just the PM of BJP members, but also PM of all Indians, irrespective of parties” added Poojary.

Slamming CM Siddaramaiah and the state government on their plans of celebrating 100th birth Anniversary of Late PM Indira Gandhi, Poojary said, ” Is our CM and his cabinet members hooked on stupidity or what. When many parts of the state is reeling under severe drought, it is not wise to celebrate this anniversary in a town, just because we don’t have a drought here. CM should visit these drought affected areas, console the farmers there and provide financial assistance to them, and not come here and show off on the dais along with bevy of his colleagues. This is senseless to have a big celebration when people in other parts of Karnataka are suffering due to droughts. I will face the CM and his team of ministers when they arrive for the forthcoming anniversary celebrations, and I am not afraid of it either. This is Poojary, what you all know!”

When a journo posed a question at Poojary, as to whether he will attend the celebrations if invited, for which Poojary arrogantly replied, “Never in my dreams. For that matter if Indira Gandhi was alive today, she wouldn’t have attended such anniversary celebration either. We both have common senses, unlike our CM and his team of ministers. Shame on these organizers to come up with such a celebration when the state is facing drought problems and people suffering”. To another question asked by a reporter, as to whether he will grace the inauguration of new Congress office building near Kadri Market this weekend, Poojary said that he will think it over, but as of now, he has not made any plans of attending- also that he has contributed his share for this building project by writing a tax deductible cheque for Rs10,000. What more do they want from me?”

Also speaking about he lavish spending done by Janardhan Reddy on his daughter’s recent wedding, he lashed out at PM saying, ” If PM has the guts he should arrest JR immediately. It’s a shame to see ministers attending JR daughter’s wedding and posing for photo shots, when the man they are taking a photo with is a criminal who was released from jail due to the influence played by PM Modi through CBI. Remember Modi is to call CBI as “Congress Bureau of Investigation”-how about now- I say it is “BJP Bureau of Investigation”. Without any delay PM should arrest Janardhan Reddy and sleuth into his accounts and all the expenditure pertaining to his daughter’s wedding.

Other Congress leaders, former MCC mayor Ajith Kumar, Karunakar Shetty, Arun Coelho, and Kallige Taranath Shetty were also seated on the dais along with Poojary.
