London, April 16 (IANS) English club Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has refused to speculate which club outgoing Borrusia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp will manage next but said the German side would survive without him.

“Dortmund is a massive club and will survive, and has the ability to keep their best players. They have a big history linked with great results and great achievements, so I don’t think that will stop for Dortmund,” Wenger was quoted as saying by FIFA.com on Thursday.

Klopp revealed his decision to leave the club at the end of the season on Wednesday but insisted he had had no contact with any potential suitors from other clubs. But he stressed on his intention of not taking a sabbatical from the game.

He was Dortmund’s coach for seven years from 2008.

The 47-year-old German has been installed as favourite to replace the under-pressure Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City, but Wenger was keen not to add fuel to the fire when quizzed on the issue.

“I’m not an agency to place managers, and I like every manager and respect everybody, but I find that circus a bit ridiculous.”

Asked about any advice he would want to give to foreign coaches coming into the Premier league, Wenger replied: “Try to get your ideas through and adapt as well to the local culture and respect it.”
