Dr Ravikante new SP of DK, Sudheer Kumar Reddy Transferred to Belagavi
Mangaluru: The SP of Dakshina Kannada Sudheer Kumar Reddy has been transferred on January 20. SP Reddy has been transferred to Belagavi district with immediate effect.
SP Reddy had taken charge as the SP of Dakshina Kannada on June 21, in 2017. Dr B R Ravikante Gowda IPS batch 2005 will take charge as the new SP of Dakshina Kannada.
The state government passed the order of transfer on January 20 and posted the SP of Belagavi district Dr B R Ravikante Gowda as the new SP of Dakshina Kannada. Dr B R Ravikante Gowda is holding a doctorate in literature.
Earlier Dr Ravikante Gowda served as DCP in Bengaluru. He is quite capable of bringing the communal forces under control.
Dr Ravikante Gowda is the son of renowned writer Ramanna of Besagarahalli and an encounter specialist.
