East Police Arrest 3 Bag Snatchers
Mangaluru: The East police have arrested three bag snatchers on June 8.
The arrested have been identified as Anjaneya alias Vijay from Suratkal, Koushik Devadiga from Kadri and Rakshit Kotian from Bejai Anegundi.
According to the police, all the three have been involved in 5 cases snatching bags from people. Three cases have been registered in the East Police station, one each in Bantwal Rural Police Station and Manipal Police Station.
The police have arrested the three and recovered a stolen Honda worth Rs 50,000/-, 5 mobile phones worth Rs 23,000/- and other items.
Under the able guidance of ACP Uday Nayak, the operation was carried out by Police Inspector Maruti Nayak, PSI Harish, ASI Sashidhar Shetty, HC Venkatesh, Umesh, Prashant, Ashit and PC Ravi.
