Failed in PUC Girl commits suicide by Hanging in Hebri

Udupi: An 18-year-old girl committed suicide on Monday, April 15 in Hebri for failing in Class 12 final examinations.

The deceased has been identified as Pragna D (18) a resident of Hebri Nadumane.

According to sources Pragna was studying in second PU Arts section at the Government Pre-University College, Brahmavar.

The Second year PU results were announced on Monday, April 15. Pragna had failed in one subject Kannada in second PUC. She had obtained above 60 marks in other subjects. After she saw her results, Pragana was depressed, she later hanged herself to the fan using a Saree.

A case has been registered in the Hebri Police Station.
