‘Fearing ‘Modi Fever’ other Parties are Uniting Together to Defeat Him’- C T Ravi
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at BJP Office. CT Ravi, Former State Education Minister and current National Co-Convenor, BJP Sadasyata Maha Abhiyan, General Secretary, Karnataka said, “PM Narendra Modi’s fever has taken India by storm, and for that matter, even in Karnataka state, including DK, Mangaluru and surrounding districts. The election results of DK and Udupi districts where majority of BJP candidates had won, shows that the Modi fever has taken these districts by storm, and therefore the people voted BJP candidates to represent them in their grievances and civic issues”.
“Even though BJP couldn’t form the government in Karnataka, but the tricks played by Congress and JD-S has made them to rule the State-but I am positive that this joint party ruling our state will not last long. Already there has been lot of misunderstanding and conflict between these two parties over minister posts allocation. BJP will not seek the support of any party, nor would join with any party, but will make our party strong by uniting the BJP people, and will win the 2019 Lok Sabha election, and retain PM Modi as our Prime Minister” added C T Ravi.
He further said, “We will start working hard to ensure the Congress-JDS government does not last long and an electoral alliance between the partners does not take shape in 2019. We will try to destabilise the Congress-JDS government and ensure it collapses before 2019. Why did they (the Cong-JDS) lock up the MLAs? What democratic principle is this? Why couldn’t you trust your members? What was their fear? Had they allowed the MLAs to go to their constituencies they would have realised that the Congress-JDS alliance was against the people’s mandate. Many of the MLAs would have supported us, BJP would try to bring down the Congress-JDS dispensation, but predicted that the government formed by the “unholy alliance” would not last long.”
“This is not an ideological alliance. It is an alliance for power. The people of Karnataka didn’t vote for this and they (the Congress-JDS) will face the people’s wrath. I assure you that in 2019 we will win by a bigger margin than in 2014. Let them (the Opposition) come together. The elections in few places were to elect local MPs and not Narendra Modi. When the Lok Sabha polls in 2019 take place then people will see who they want as PM. Vote Narendra Modi for India to Win?” added CT Ravi.
CT Ravi further said, ” In the name farmers, the Congress and JD-S led government is fooling and mind boggling the people of Karnataka, just to gain more support in the next election. But people know whom to vote and with whom they to stay. We don’t care many parties joining together to destroy BJP, but we will work hard to retain our loyal supporters, and we will make sure that PM Modi wins in 2019, and continues as PM once again. Finally my humble request for the people to vote for Capt Ganesh Karnik and Ayanur Manjunath in the South West Teachers’ Constituency election on 8 June. These two candidates are ideal persons, so cast your votes in favor of them”
