Four including A flight Crew Member Test Positive for Coronavirus in DK

Mangaluru: On June 1, four persons, including a flight crew member, was tested positive for the Coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada.

The twenty-seven-year-old flight crew had travelled to Dakshina Kannada on May 20. According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, before joining duty, the Flight Crew should undergo a throat swab test. Accordingly, on June 1, the report of the flight crew was tested positive for Coronavirus.

Another 24-year-old woman from Suratkal had travelled from Bahrain via Pune to Mangaluru. She was planning to return to Bahrain, so she had gone to a private lab for the throat swab test, and her report on June 1 tested positive for the Coronavirus.

A 45-year-old woman from Beltangady was also tested positive for the Coronavirus, she is suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI), and a 50-year-old man who had travelled from Gujarat has been tested positive for the Coronavirus.
