Fr Hilary Sanctis (87) Passes Away
Mangaluru: Fr Hilary Sanctis passed away on Friday, 24 April 2020. He was 87.
Fr Hilary Sanctis was born on 16 March 1933 at Sampige Parish. He was ordained a priest for the diocese of Mangalore on 4 December 1961.
Fr Hilary served as Assistant parish priest at Pezar and Bendur parish. He was the Chaplain at Marishram and Panja parishes. He served as the parish Priest of Permude, Tallur and Palimar parishes. In 1993 at age 60 he retired from active ministry. During his retirement time, he has helped in churches in the Pastoral ministry.
His mortal remains will be brought to St Zuze Vaz Home, Jeppu at 1:30 pm. The funeral rites will be held on April 25 at the Mangalore Diocese Priest’s cemetery at Valencia at 4:00 pm.
