Fr Roshan Crasta & Fr Sylvester Lobo are New Administrators of FMHMC & FMHT Respectively

Change is Always Better! Fr Roshan Crasta & Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo are New Administrators of Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College/Hospital & Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division-Derlakatte-Mangaluru; & Father Muller Hospital-Thumbay Respectively.

Mangaluru: In a organization or a institution, Change is always better in the Administration. One of life’s constants is change. Ready or not, it happens. We grow. We age. Technology reinvents each new day. Some relish change; others resist. Even the most basic understanding of the principles of change would make transitions easier, whether it’s the head of a country proposing universal insurance, or the administrator of a institution after for more accountability from his faculty and staff. Change is good. Progress is impossible without change. And those who cannot change their minds, cannot change anything. Therefore for the progress of an organization or an institution change in leadership/Administrator/Director is always better, so that new improvements/infrastructure and developments take place under the new Administrator.

And for that matter, there has been a CHANGE in the ADMINISTRATORS at Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital/ Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division, Derlakatte-Mangaluru; and Father Muller Hospital-Thumbay. As per the transfers of priests of the Mangaluru diocese, the Bishop Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha had announced the names of the priests as to where they have been transferred, and among them were Fr Roshan Crasta, being transferred from Fr Muller Hospital-Thumbay as Administrator there to Administrator of Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College/Hospital & Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division-Derlakatte-Mangaluru; Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo as Assistant Administrator from Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College/Hospital, Derlakatte-Mangaluru there to Administrator of Father Muller Hospital-Thumbay; and Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha- as Administrator from Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College/Hospital & Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division-Derlakatte-Mangaluru there to Parish Priest of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Manjeshwar-Kerala.

As they say that time really files. And came the day of mixed feelings for the management and staff of of these two Father Muller Charitable Institutions, when they had bid goodbye to their most their beloved Administrator/Asst Administrator who after dedicated service had to leave on a new assignment, but not out of FMCI, but at two different Institutions of FMCI. And everyone had one thing to say was a BIG Thank You to Fr Roshan Crasta, who was the Administration of Father Muller Hospital-Thumbay; and Fr Sylvester Lobo who was the Asst Administration of FMHMC & H-Deralakatte, for being most friendly and humble during their tenure.

These three religious priests have touched so many hearts, and because of God’s love they had chosen to open their huge hearts and live that life as followers of Father Augustus Muller, the Founder of FMCI, as both Followers and leaders. And that is the reason that all of them at these two institutions miss them very dearly after serving for quite a long time. A farewell and welcome function for the two priests, Fr Crasta and Fr Lobo were held at FMHMC in Derlakatte on Monday, 27 May 2019, which was graced by Fr Richard Coelho, the Director of FMCI. As I take up the post held by Fr Vincent Saldanha, who has done a marvellous job as Administrator, I will follow in his footsteps to see that this institution reaches greater heights. I would like to extremely thank Dr Kiran Shetty, who as the Medical Superintendent at Father Muller Hospital-Thumbay was like my left and right hand, taking care of all the responsibilities that a hospital needed to run smoothly and effectively. Also speaking on the occasion, Fr Richard Coelho, the Director of FMCI said, “My congratulations to both these stalwarts who are ready to take their institutions tom greater heights, as administrators. My first advice to them is- learn the in and surroundings of your institutions thoroughly; and secondly learn to cooperate and handle any problematical situations effectively. Remember success and growth of the institution doesn’t come from these two administrators, but through contribution and efforts from staff. Goodwill and cooperation results in success and progress of the institution. The Bishop having good faith and trust in these two servants of God have given them the prestigious posts, so that they will bring name and fame, and reach their respective institutions to higher standards. To Fr Crasta and Fr Lobo, I say Best of luck and keep up the good work that you are entrusted with, and may God bless you both.
