G S B Seva Sangha to hold ‘Ramayana Jnanadhara’ at Sujeer C. V. Nayak Hall on January 21

Mangaluru: G S B Seva Sangha Mangalore is organising “Ramayana Jnandhara” on Sunday, 21st January 2024 at at Sujir C. V. Nayak Auditorium, Kudmul Ranga Rao Road, Kadri, Mangalore. The programme will be held to commemorate the reconstruction of Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. From 9 a.m. onwards, that day will witness competitions like the Ramayana Quiz, Ramayana Narration and Ramayana Colouring.

Swami Vinayakanandaji Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Bailur, will inaugurate the competitions. Sri K. Satish Prabhu, Trustee of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Carstreet, Mangalore, will be the Guest of Honour.

The competitions will be held under the guidance of the former Tantri of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Carstreet, Mangalore Pandit, M. Surendra Acharya. President of the Sangh Dr Kasturi Mohan Pai will preside.

More than 750 students from around 75 schools in Mangalore City Corporation limits from 1st to 10th Std. are expected to take part in the Ramayana Narration, Ramayana Quiz and Ramayana Colouring contest to be held on that day.

Ramayana Narration competitions will be held in Konkani, Kannada, Tulu or Sanskrit languages. In the Ramayana Colouring Contest for the students of 1st to 5th Std., printed drawings will be provided in the hall and students have to bring their own crayons. Attractive prizes to winners and participation certificates will be issued to all the participants. The general public who are interested are free to attend the programme.
