Garment Shop Gutted in fire at Thokkottu
Mangaluru: A major fire engulfed a shop at Thokkottu junction here on March 7.
The fire was reported from Bombay cotton shop which is located at Thokkottu junction at 10:30 pm. The shop is owned by Badruddin from Mumbai.
It is suspected that due to the HT wires passing in the area fire broke out in the building.
The fire tenders and the police rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. No casualties were reported. The loss is said to be more than Rs 15 Lakh.
Ullal police have registered a case and are investigating.
