Gauri Murder Accused Wagmare Belongs to RSS – Pramod Muthalik
Mangaluru: “The Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested Parshuram Wagmare in Sindhagi in the murder case of journalist Gauri Lankesh, is a member of the RSS. Wagmare was arrested along with 5 others RSS members in the Pakistan flag hoisting issue but the SP had then said that he belonged to the Sri Rama Sene, later Parshuram was removed from the RSS”, said Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik in a press meet held at the Arya Samaj Mandir here on August 31.
Answering the question raised by a journalist about Wagmare who has been arrested by SIT in the Gauri Lankesh murder case belonging to SRS, Muthalik said, “When I attend any marriage function, people come and click photographs with me instead of clicking their photographs with the newly-wedded couple. Wagmare might have posed for a photograph with me and so was tagged as an SRS member when he actually was a member of the RSS. So when Wagmare was being victimised in the Pakistan flag hoisting case, I arranged for an advocate for him.”
Pramod Muthalik further said, “Now the Komu Souharda Vedike is demanding the ban of Sanatan Sanstha. Komu Souharda Vedike does not have any other work. Ten scientists, soldiers and Hindu activists have been murdered but the KSV is giving importance only to the Gauri and Kalburgi murder case. Sanatan Sanstha is working in the field of spirituality but KSV is targetting the Sanatan Sanstha. The KSV is targetting Hindu activists, they are not interested to fight against the Gauri Lankesh or Kalburgi murderers. There is no terrorism in Hinduism, the Congress party created it”, added Muthalik.
