Paji is a musician and producer, domiciled in Berlin, who combines electronic music with classical Instruments. PAJI’s music is the essence of pure joy and a result of his extraordinary passion and devotion to music, which manifests itself in an innovative electronic sound with classical influences. He is a German musician who produces advanced electronic music and plays live acts. Furthermore, he copes with playing various classical instruments, particularly the violin. Paji combines this extraordinary skill with his ability to produce colorful.

Paji was born in Cologne, Germany in 1986. At the age of five, he discovered his passion for music in all its facets. Learning and playing traditional instruments fascinated him since his early childhood: alongside percussion’s, the violin quickly became his favorite instrument. At `Rheinische Musikschule Köln` he was educated in playing the classical violin. Hailing from the iconic German city of Aachen, Paji can reflect on a fantastic career trotting the globe with his violin incorporated live sets, as well as having released several times on the German imprints Kittball and Katermukke – including the amazing “Sharks In The Woods”, one of the most entrancing atmospheres of recent times at Armada Music.

His productions live up of epic proportions and organic elements with oriental influences distinguishable of Paji’s innovative sound, being unquestionable that the talented and budding producer is one of the most exciting prospects of his generation with his traditional roots. Paji’s dexterity with the violin is married seamlessly with quality electronic elements, mesmerizing keys and meandering hooks. Electronic dance music, melodic house or techno – simply sorting Paji into one of these genres would not do justice to his musical uniqueness. Since his first EP, released in 2013, he created unmistakable listening experiences from a symbiosis of classical and traditional instruments as well as synth- or DAW-generated electronic sounds.

In 2019, things changed, been stirred up and the contemporary dance floor was not necessarily the main point of reference anymore. Paji’s album released on Katermukke goes beyond anything he’s ever done, sports different influences and – especially in tunes like “Oraman“ – pays homage to his musical upbringing rather than referencing the next peak-time sensation. It’s no coincidence that the album bears his name “Paji“: titles like “Intoku” lead the listeners to his oriental roots. On the other hand, Paji shows his musical cosmopolitanism and love for contemporary, melodious dance music in “Wild Flowers” and “Virtue”. A special highlight is the collaboration with his long-time friends and companions Tube & Berger, which resulted in a mystical groovy track : “Raw Water“.

With the Outro “Yggdrasil”, which means as much as “World Tree” or “Where Everything Comes Together”, the musical circle closes and the album finishes, as it began – with an audible and perceptible journey into Paji ́s world of colorful music. It’s evident that this album brings more to the table than just computer generated loops catering to the most basic needs of what makes electronic dance music floor functional. Each track is a thought out composition in its own right; all eleven of them combined can make up as a single masterpiece debut perfectly defining Paji’s distinct style and approach to create music that’s suitable for the club environments, car rides, sofa listening sessions as well as, strolls in the nature.

From beautiful hymns like “Children Of Love” over pieces and EP’s like “The Old Goods”, “Opus 7”, “Venom” or “Climb”, the modern day Paganini embraces the world of electronic live music with using classical instruments as its best in both underground and commercial, bringing on the scene collaborations with names like Tube & Berger, Basti Grub or live performances with the German radio act Alle Farben, as well as having been remixed by Mokita, German Brigante, Basti Grub or Einmusik. His live videos go viral anytime on social media arousing lots of attention with a maximum of likes and plays from his fans worldwide.

This live gig was arranged by Boom Box Events Inc, Bengaluru in association with Onyx Air Lounge, Mangaluru to give the hardcore EDM and Dance Music fans of Mangaluru a unique treat for the New Year 2020- and it was worth their money spent on this First of its Kind music extravaganza, to storm Smart Music & Fun City-MANGALURU!
