Health Check-up Camp marks 49th Birthday of Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi: God’s grace and people’s support is the leading factor for my growth, I will continue to serve the people effectively, said Minister for Fisheries, Youth and Sports Pramod Madhwaraj.
He was speaking after inaugurating the free medical-checkup programme organized on his 49th birthday by his supporters at town hall Ajjarkad here on Monday October 17.
Holding a health check-up camp on his birthday has brought him great satisfaction. He said that he does not believe in celebrating birthday’s but his party workers insisted him to celebrate. “God has blessed me abundantly in my life. Sharing the blessing with my people brings me great satisfaction. The party workers are my biggest assets; I adore them for their service and support. I have not witnessed any confrontations in my constituency. I will continue to serve the people in my constituency”, he added.
Shree Vikyatananda Swamiji of Bollettu Math Hosmar Karkala said that when money comes in life, people change but Pramod Madhwaraj is still the simplest and down to earth person. Pramod has set an example by treating the people of all religions equally and working towards their welfare. He is unique among all the politicians because of his politeness and simplicity.
Fr Denis D’sa, PRO Udupi Diocese and also the parish priest of St Antony’s Church Kunthalnagar said that Pramod Madhwaraj enjoys life mixing with people. His concern for the poor and deprived has led him to become a person of virtues.
Maulana H Sufiyana Sakhafi of Prof Al-Khadisha Islamic and Science Academy Bantwal said that people are least bothered about their fellow beings, roads are getting widened but people have lost humanity. Humans have forgotten to live, politicians like Pramod Madhwaraj are important for building the nation, he added.
Dr Padmaprasad Hegde professor and head of the department of Urology department KMC Manipal, and Purushotham Shetty were present.
