Health Minister Sriramulu Visits Krishna Math, performs Linga Puja
Udupi: State Health and Family welfare minister Sriramulu visited Sri Krishna Math Udupi and had a darshan of the deity Lord Sri Krishna on September 28.
Health Minister Sriramulu arrived in Udupi on Friday, October 27 and stayed overnight at the Ajjarkad government Hospital. Sriramulu woke up early in the morning and visited the Sri Krishna Math.
As a part of Mahalaya Amavasya, Sriramulu performed the Amavasya Thithi to appease the ancestors. Later he returned to Government hospital and performed two hours of Linga Puja. Sriramulu again visited Sri Krishna Math and had a darshan of the deity Lord Krishna.
Later speaking to media persons Ramulu said, government hospitals should be improved since the private hospitals are too expensive for the poor. Improvement of infrastructure facilities is the only purpose of my visit.
Later the minister had a meeting with the officials and discussed the development related issues of the hospital.
