“#HighJosh” Pejawar and Sode Swamiji watch ‘Uri’ Film

Udupi: Compliments have not stopped pouring in for Aditya Dhar’s Uri: The Surgical Strike. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, it has won the hearts of one and all. Now, Pejwar Maths senior Swamiji Sri Vishwesha Theertha has called it an “inspiring” film.

Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji along with junior Swamiji Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha and Sode Math’s Sri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji on Thursday night watched the movie, “Uri: The Surgical Strike’ at Bharath Cinemas Manipal.

Aditya Dhar’s “Uri: The Surgical Strike”, starring Vicky Kaushal, is a dramatisation of the Army’s operation against terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 2016, in retaliation to an attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri that killed 17 Army personnel. It is already on its way to becoming one of the year’s top grosser.

Later speaking to media persons Pejawar Swamiji said. “I am happy to have watched the movie Uri It was an inspiring movie. I congratulate the cast & crew of Uri for showcasing the valour of the Indian Army,”.
