Hit-and-run case, School Teacher Dinakar Hegde Dies on Spot
Beltangady: A government School teacher died after he was hit by a vehicle while he was on his morning walk at Guruvayanakere here on December 20.
The deceased has been identified as Dinakar Hegde (48), a resident of Sasyodyana Guruvayanakere. He was a teacher at the Government School in Mundkur.
According to sources, at around 5:45 a.m Dinakar Hegde after his walk, had purchased a newspaper and was returning home. Near Hotel Shenoy at Guruvayanakere, an unidentified vehicle hit Dinakar Hegde. Dinakar collapsed and died on the spot.
