ICSK Khaitan Celebrates Kuwait National and Liberation Days

Kuwait: The Kuwait National Day and Liberation Day were celebrated by the students of ICSK Khaitan from 18th February to 22nd February 2018, with full spirit and enthusiasm.

To highlight the iconic history behind the Independence of Kuwait, special assemblies were conducted by the students. They adorned Kuwaiti costumes to grace the occasion sharing the love and respect for the wonderful rich heritage of the foster country.

The campus was beautifully decorated by students to give a Kuwaiti ambiance showering the ethnicity and rich culture of Kuwait. Arabic songs echoed with cheers all over the campus.

Principal, K G Shirsath, graced the occasion by appreciating the children for their effort. He also congratulated the teachers for their initiative in instilling the great traditions of Kuwaiti culture in the young minds.

There was a huge rejoice and passion in the premises of the school. The Kuwait flag was fluttering in the building as a mark of honour for the benevolent Government. Echoing the slogan ‘Long Live Kuwait’, the students made the entire School to feel true solidarity to Kuwait.

ICSK Khaitan Organizes Bon Voyage to its Class X Students

Kuwait: ICSK Khaitan organized a Bon Voyage Assembly for the batch of class 10 on Wednesday, 21st February 2018.

The event solemnly commenced with a recital of verses from the holy Quran followed by the national anthems of Kuwait and India. Principal, Gangadhar Shirsath, in his welcome address poured immense blessings on the students and wished all the best for their board exams. After resuming classes XI and XII on campus, the school changed its farewell to blessings ceremony as students are now able to continue their studies in the same school.

Chief guest Eng. Praveen Madhavan, an eminent toastmaster and keynote speaker, graced the occasion with his informative motivational lecture. He advised students to face the exam without stress and fear. Citing examples from real life, he explained strategies to prepare for the forthcoming Board Examinations. Sabiha Khan, Sakina, Reshmi Ravindran and Sneha Sahni of class X emotionally shared their sweet memories associated with their long journey at ICSK and expressed their gratitude in their reminiscence speeches. It was a moment of reliving the good memories they had in the school with their companions and teachers. The campus looked young and pretty as all students attended the function in colourful attire.

After the proposal of the vote of thanks by Ambika Sivaprasad, the auditorium fervidly witnessed ‘the Showers of Blessings’ where all students were distributed sweets and solemnly blessed by the Principal and teachers, who helped the students to ascend and behold the world through a new perception.
