ICYM Kolalgiri holds Inter-ward Cultural Competition ‘SODNA 2K19’
Udupi: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Kolalgiri unit organized an inter ward cultural competition “SODNA 2K19” for all the parishioners of the Sacred Heart Church Kolalgiri on 22nd September 2019 at the Church Hall.
The cultural competition comprised of an Inaugural ceremony. The programme was inaugurated by Fr Anil Prakash Castelino, Fr Roman D’Souza, Parish pastoral council vice President Vincent, Coordinator of 18 commission Queeny Mary D’Souza and ICYM Animator Lancy Mascarenhas, Unit President Ashwin D’Souza and Secretary Renson Mascarenhas.
Asmitha Correa Kundapur, Steevan Bramhvar and Joseph Rebello were the Judges.
The first Lawyer of the Parish Royton D’Souza and the newly elected President of Govt First Grade College and Centre for PG studies Thenkanidiyoor, Arul Mascarenhas were Felicitated. Many Lucky Games were conducted. The lucky child prize was won by master Amston (son of Arun Nishmitha D’Souza, Giri Front Ward ), the Lucky Couple prize was won by Naveen Marina Rodriguez Mayadi ward and the Lucky Family prize was won by Henry Mascarenhas and family Belmar ward. Each ward performed a skit on the topic given to them and also performed a cultural program Luke dance and singing.
The valedictory programme was presided over by Fr Anil Prakash Castelino.

2nd prize: Holy Family ward (Mayadi Ward)
3rd prize: Our lady of Fathima Ward (Sakailokudru ward)

Holy cross ward (Kukkikatte) and Christ king ward (Giri Back)
Best performance in Cultural event
St Theresa ward (Little Flower – Narnad) and St Lawrence ward (Havanje)
