Infant Jesus Shrine Bikarnakatte opens for Prayer Services

Mangaluru: Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte opened after five months of closure. Due to the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) the shrine and all the activities in the infant Jesus shrine were closed. Adhering to the government rules, regulation and guidance, Novena masses started on September 3. Hereafter, every Thursday the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 6:00 am, 7:30 am, 10:30 am and 6:00 pm. On weekdays the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. Devotees rushed to this Holy place to offer prayers and receive blessings. The church and the premises are sanitized after every mass, and devotees have to strictly follow social distancing and wear the mask.

Special prayers were offered for all doctors, nurses, police department and COVID-19 warriors at the shrine, for their selfless service and also for all the people of world who are affected by the coronavirus.

Fr Charles Serrao, Superior and Fr Rovel D’Souza, Shrine Director informed the press about the recent happenings at the Infant Jesus Shrine, Mangalore.
