Jagadish Death: Case filed Against Veerakesari for disturbing Posts on Social Media

Mangaluru: A case has been registered in the Panambur police station against Veerakesari facebook account, in connection with the posting of disturbing messages on the suspicious death of Jagadish Suvarna, here on April 22.

According to the police, on April 20, Convenor of the Bajrang Dal, Bengre unit Jagadish Suvarna who had gone to attend a Mehendi function at Bengre but never returned. On April 21, his body was found on the shore near the Estuary at Gurupur.

His brother Shivanand had filed a complaint in the Panambur police station in connection with the suspicious death of Jagadish. A case has been registered in this regard and the Panambur police are investigating.

Meanwhile, there have been disturbing and inciting messages on Jagadish Suvarna’s death on Veerakesari facebook page. Since such comments and messages will disturb the peace in the society, to avoid any untoward incidents, the police have filed a case against the Veerakesari facebook account under 153 IPC.
