Japanese Delegation from Kyoto Kagaku Visits Father Muller Charitable Institutions
Mangaluru: A delegation from Kyoto Kagaku, Japan, visited the Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The delegation comprised Mr. Toshiyuki Takayama, President of Kyoto Kagaku, and Mr. Takao Kinouchi, General Manager – Overseas Sales. The delegates received a warm welcome at FMCI, and the visit was coordinated by Dr. Rithesh Joseph D’Cunha, Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology and Head of Healthcare Simulation Education.
During the visit, Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, interacted with the delegates and discussed opportunities for future collaboration between Kyoto Kagaku and FMCI, particularly in the areas of healthcare simulation education and training.
The Father Muller Simulation & Skill Centre (FMSSC), one of the largest users of Kyoto Kagaku healthcare simulation products, showcased the extensive utilisation of the company’s advanced simulation equipment and skill trainers. Mr. Toshiyuki Takayama expressed his appreciation and said he was particularly impressed by the effective use of Kyoto Kagaku products at the centre. He commended the high standards set by the institution in simulation training and expressed his desire to further strengthen the association between the two organisations, which has spanned more than a decade, in the years ahead.
Also present at the meeting were Rev. Dr. Michael Santhumayor, Administrator of FMMC, FMCOAHS and FMCOP; Rev. Fr. George Jeevan Sequeira, Administrator of FMMCH; Rev. Fr. William D’Souza, Assistant Administrator of FMMCH; and Mr. Pradeep D’Souza, Simulation Technician.
Representing Tech4HC, the authorised dealer of Kyoto Kagaku healthcare simulation products in South India, were Mr. Tapa Bhattacharyya, Director, and Mr. Rajath Raveendran, General Manager. Mr. Bhattacharyya spoke about the continued association between the organisations and assured Tech4HC’s support and collaboration in future programmes and initiatives.
