Array Los Angeles, April 11 (IANS) Actress Kerry Washington says she learned to dance from singer-actress Jennifer Lopez.

“I had this very inspiring teacher named Larry Maldonado. He had an awesome substitute teacher named Jennifer, who would sometimes step in and teach, but then she left to move to Los Angeles and be on ‘In Living Colour’,” Washington said on “The Tonight Show”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I learned to dance from Jennifer Lopez. It was like meant to be that I would be famous,” she added.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old previously revealed she tries to “quit acting all the time”.

She said: “I try to quit acting all the time! Not necessarily the show, it’s not that I would ever walk away from ‘Scandal,’ but at times I am like, ‘Eh, I’m done with this acting thing.’ But being able to tell the story brings me back.”

Susan Boyle involved in dramatic airport incident

London, April 11 (IANS) Singer Susan Boyle reportedly left airline passengers shocked when she screamed for assistance in the lounge of Derry Airport.

According to a source, the 55-year-old caused a dramatic scene while flying home on her own last week and was subsequently led into a side-room by airport staff who comforted her, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“There was quite a buzz in the airport when people became aware of her presence,” the source told the Sunday People newspaper.

“To see her running through the airport after she left to board the flight, screaming for help, was the last thing anyone expected to see,” the insider added.

The source shared that Boyle became distressed after rowing with a relative.

“Susan’s trip wasn’t what she had hoped it would be. She had travelled to Derry for a birthday celebration and had taken her brother with her but sadly the two of them had a disagreement,” the source explained.

“He decided to leave early on his own which was a problem for Susan, who is not used to travelling alone and felt very vulnerable and upset. She became quite ­distressed and in the end her assistant flew out from Glasgow to collect her and brought her home safely the next day,” added the insider.

Chelsea Handler has a ‘personality for divorce’

Los Angeles, April 11 (IANS) Comedienne Chelsea Handler says that she has a “personality for divorce” and doesn’t believe there is only one person for everyone.

The 41-year-old, who previously dated rapper 50 Cent, hotelier Andre Balazs and TV executive Ted Harbert, doesn’t believe relationships last forever and is glad she never married when she was younger, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“If I’d got married in my 30s, I’d be divorced by now because I have a personality for divorce. And I don’t really want kids. I’m not interested in the myth of ‘The One’ either,” Handler told Red magazine.

“Who planted the Prince Charming bulls**t anyway? There is no f*****g Prince Charming. It’s a romantic notion to think there is a lid for every pot. There are a few lids. You are with someone for a period and then you move on.

“I believe, as you get older, you make better decisions and if I were to get married now, I would trust myself more. I’m not so stupid. I don’t ignore the flags,” she added.

North is jealous of her brother: Kim Kardashian

Las Vegas, April 11 (IANS) Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says her two-year-old daughter North is a “little jealous” of her four-month-old brother Saint.

The 35-year-old says North doesn’t like it when she spends time with Saint, reports hollywoodlife.com.

“My daughter is still in the little jealous phase and that’s really hard for me because she gets so jealous when I try to do anything with (Saint), so I sneak moments with him or have my husband entertain her, and I have to separate it sometimes,” Kim told reporters here at a nightclub.

“North gets into the groove and realises that it’s all going to be ok. There’s enough attention and love for everybody,” she added.

Jennifer Aniston applauds husband’s cookery skills

Los Angeles, April 11 (IANS) Actress Jennifer Aniston says her husband Justin Theroux’s fabulous cooking skills has brought pasta back into her life and is now her “new favourite go-to-town food”.

“Pasta has taken over as my new favourite go-to-town food. Yes, he (Theroux) has brought the pasta back into my life. I don’t know whether I should thank him or hate him for that,” Aniston told ELLE magazine, reports people.com.

“I do thank him (because it is) irresistible… I’ve learned how to make it and it’s not that bad for you! It’s just an egg, parmesan cheese, and a little pasta water. And we substitute turkey bacon for real bacon, so, you know,” she added.

Foster ‘couldn’t believe’ casting Julia Roberts for her film

Mumbai, April 11 (IANS) Jodie Foster, who is currently prepping for the release of her next directorial venture “Money Monster” starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, says she could not quite believe getting the former for the film.

Asked about the star cast of her film, especially her reaction when Roberts was signed for the movie, Foster said: “I was definitely pinching myself, when we got Julia. I couldn’t quite believe it.”

Foster says there was “some victory dance” after the “Pretty Woman” actress was roped in.

“George and Julia give truly substantial performances in the movie,” Foster said in a statement.

“Money Monster” is all set to release on May 15 in India by Sony Pictures.
