Kadaba Acid Attack Accused should be dealt with Severely – BJPYM President Nandan Mallya

Mangaluru: “On March 4, a heinous crime took place at the Kadaba Government College premises, when three PUC students were preparing for the examinations. A 23-year-old youth Abin attacked the students with acid which is condemnable. The accused should be interrogated and dealt with severely”, said DK BJP Yuva Morcha President Nandan Mallya after visiting the hospital in Mangaluru on March 4.

In his press statement, Nandan stated, “The youth who attacked the girls is from Malappuram, Kerala. On March 4 morning, the students Alina Sebi, Archana and Amrita together were preparing for their examinations. The accused Abin came to the college premises wearing a mask, attacked Alina with acid and fled from the spot. In the attack, Archana and Amrita were also injured.

The law and order situation has collapsed with the Congress rule in Karnataka. Congress came to power with the guarantees but it has failed in the development of the State.”

“The police should investigate the case thoroughly and find out from where the boy had purchased the acid. How did he enter the college campus with the uniform? Who provided him with the uniform? If such incidents occur on the College campuses, how safe are the students? How will the parents send their children to school or college? The Home Minister should respond regarding the safety of the girls going to college. The police should also investigate the history of the accused and punish him severely. All the medical expenses of the three students should be borne by the government and they should be compensated. If such incidents are repeated in the future, the Home minister should resign from his post”, demanded Nandan.
