Kasaragod: Umarul Farooq (27), son of Husseinar of Chattanchal of Badoor near Kumbla in the district, has died in a road mishap in the Gulf state of Kuwait last week.
According to information received by the family, a car in which six employees of the same firm were travelling met with a mishap, in which two Indians died and three were injured. The other Indian who died is said to be Syed from Uttar Pradesh.
Further details like the nature of the mishap are not immediately available. Family sources in Chattanchal said that the young man had gone to Kuwait on employment only four months ago.
They also said that arrangements were being made to have his mortal remains repatriated to his native place.
