KCA UK holds Annual Picnic Celebrating Community Spirit

KCA UK, Manchester, held it’s annual summer picnic on 22nd June 2019 at Carsington Waters, Derbyshire. The turnout was great, there were around 110 people that attended – KCA UK at it’s best celebrating the community spirit. The picnic started with a prayer on the bus, and a welcome speech by Santhosh Pinto, president of KCA UK.

The weather was brilliant with the sun shining. There were fun games organised which entertained one and all thoroughly – sack race, lemon and spoon race for the kids and dog and the bone, seven tiles (lagori), tug-of-war etc for the adults. All were divided into 2 teams; competition was fierce which added to the fun and laughter.

There was live music by KCA talent – Mukesh on the harmonium, Ganesh on the drums and Joe on the guitar. Stany Mendonca and Daniel entertained all with their melodious voice as usual – people danced along and all had a joyful time.

Anthony Mary, Daniel Nienaar and Tariq Lodhi from Khabrain TV, captured the mood of the day in their cameras.

Like all good things come to an end, it was time to go however the fun continued on the bus back home.

A big thanks to Santhosh Pinto, Ronald Lobo and all the other members who worked behind the scenes. Thanks for a very successful picnic.
