Konaje: Two-Wheeler Rider Killed in Pickup Collision; Pillion Rider Seriously Injured
Konaje: A 22-year-old two-wheeler rider was killed, and his pillion rider was seriously injured after a pickup vehicle rammed their two-wheeler from behind near the Kurnadu petrol pump, close to Boliyar, on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Arfaz (22), a resident of Arebinagar in Kinya. The injured pillion rider was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the impact of the collision caused the two-wheeler rider to lose control of the vehicle and crash into an electricity pole on the roadside. The pickup vehicle subsequently rammed the same pole, causing it to break and fall.
Police personnel who arrived at the scene gathered information from local residents, registered a case, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
