Kumar Bangarappa will never Join Congress – MP B Y Raghavendra
Kundapur: “The former BJP MLA Kumara Bangarappa, will not join the Congress party. It is just a rumour that he will contest from Shivamogga district as Congress candidate”, said MP of Shivamogga B Y Raghavendra at Hemmadi on January 8.
Addressing the media persons Raghavendra said, “It is just a rumour that Bangarappa will contest as the Congress candidate from Shivamogga in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Being a national party, the Congress is not facing any dearth of candidates”.
Raghavendra further said, “Bangarappa is busy in the field of cinema and other commitments. He will soon become active again in politics”.
MP Raghavendra said that he is confident of winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections if the party fields him again from the Shivamogga district.
