Kuwait: The Kundapur Varado Welfare Association [KVWA] organized the Annual Get-together for their members and families at the Rajdhani Palace Restaurant, Khaitan recently. The programme began with an invocation by Leena.
Donald Mendonca, the President of KVWA, welcomed the gathering and thanked all the members for the kind support provided to KVWA over the years. The President emphasized on the importance of having more committee members to work towards achieving the goals set by KVWA. Donald thanked the main sponsors for the event with flower bouquets. The KVWA report was presented by the Vice President, Christopher Dias which presented the highlights of the various achievements by KVWA since its inception. The report enumerated the list of financial support provided by KVWA to various educational institutions and needy persons in India and Kuwait.
Sudhi Fronteiro and group [Ballerines] provided lively, foot-tapping music that entertained the guests and set them rocking on the dance floor. The Ballerines group dance artistes performed on various dance sequences that enthralled the guests with their scintillating dance moves and amazing choreography. The guests were mesmerized by the solo numbers presented by Gulf Voice of Mangalore finalist, Roshan Olivera.
It was never a moment devoid of entertainment, with the guests being kept well entertained with ‘Children’s games’ and Spot prizes both for kids and adults.
Alwyn Mendonca delivered the Vote of thanks. The KVWA get-together concluded with a sincere thought of gratitude towards the combined efforts of all the Committee members towards making this event memorable and wonderful for all.
